Eletromecânica Estácio

Eletromecânica Estácio is certified as a Repair and Overhaul Service of Equipment for Explosive Atmospheres, Flammable Gas and Combustible Dust, and complies with de requirements of ABNT NBR IEC 60079-19 (Repair, Overhaul, Reclamation and Modification of Equipment for Explosive Atmospheres), the certification is performed by the product certifying body, besides being the first company in Brazil awarded with this certification.

We perform maintenance and repair of LV and HV electric motors and generators for hazardous areas, with the following types of protection:

  • Explosion-proof
  • Increased safety
  • Non sparking
  • Pressurized
  • For housing

    • We are in accordance with all regulatory requirements in services
    performed on "Ex" equipment, providing customers with high productivity
    gains, quality and safety of the facilities and the people involved in this
    type of industrial installation.

    We participated in the Study Commission of the Subcommittee SC - 31 of COBEI (Brazilian Committee of Electricity, Electronics, Lighting and Telecommunications) - ABNT / CB - 03 – Explosive Atmospheres, whose mission is to monitor and participate in the evolution process, update, review, comments and approval of new editions of the respective international standards developed by TC-31 IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission), as well as keep current technical standards of ABNT (Brazilian Association of Technical Standards).
